When will you be referred to the Gynaecology clinicÌý

Your GP will refer you to Gynaecology if they suspect that the symptoms you are experiencing could be due to a Gynaecological cancer.Ìý

The vast majority of people who are seen in Gynaecology clinic will not have cancer; however it is important to attend your appointment for a full assessment.ÌýÌý

Your clinic appointment may take 2-3 hours so that all the necessary tests can be carried out. For more information on what these tests may include, visit ‘Tests/investigations which may take place’.Ìý
